By the grace of God, a supportive partner, two precious grandkids, amazing loved ones, and continuous inner work. I have been in recovery from alcohol and drugs since 2007. Before that, my life was chaos. I carried little self-worth, no direction, and no real ambitions. Trapped in a negative belief system, I did not trust myself or anyone else, leaving me completely stuck in destructive patterns.
Thankfully, my children were always my driving force. They kept me moving forward even when life felt utterly dark and unmanageable. Through that intense struggle and pain, I found my purpose.
My experiences did not break me—they taught me deep compassion and empathy, giving me a profound ability to truly connect with people. Today, there is nothing quite like watching someone with little light in their eyes begin to glow. It is my greatest passion to help you learn to love yourself, find clear direction, and realize just how capable you are of building the life of which you have always dreamed.
Driven by my own personal journey and a passion for human connection, my love for learning truly took root in 2007. Since then, I have immersed myself in studying behavioral science, trauma, addiction, healthy relationships, stress management, and the mind-body-soul connection. My mission has always been simple: to help people find their way through their hardest moments.
I began bringing this mission to life in 2009, volunteering and working in the chemical dependency field. Starting out with at-risk teens struggling with addiction, I relied heavily on my crisis management and emotional regulation tools to create a safe harbor for them. In 2016, I transitioned to working with adults at the renowned Hazelden Betty Ford. A pivotal moment came when I was asked to speak in Bigelow Hall to over 200 patients. If I had allowed my doubts to take over, I would not have found my love for public speaking. That single event transformed into a regular schedule of two lectures a month and opened doors for speaking engagements beyond Hazelden.
Since 2022, I began facilitating anger management and domestic violence classes. In this work, I utilize a wide range of approaches: using CBT (cognitive-behavior learning) concepts, DBT (dialectical behavior) coping skills, and SEL (social-emotional learning.) Focusing on accountability and empowerment. I am here to walk alongside you, offering my personal and professional experience, compassion, and structure you need to transform your life and relationships.
